Are you excited about teaching elementary, middle school or high school and want to share your knowledge and skills with teachers in districts around the country? This is your chance to use your expertise in a new educational experience by taking a new and exciting role in education.
Evans Newton Incorporated (ENI) is a 35 year old nationally respected educational consulting company based out of Scottsdale, AZ. ENI provides proven curriculum solutions to support success, teacher effectiveness and the needs of school administrators. Working with school districts nationwide, ENI is dedicated to giving every student the opportunity to succeed.
We are searching for individuals looking for full time and independent contract positions across the country. An ideal candidate would have the following essential functions, skills, knowledge and experience:
Extensive travel across the U.S. Independent contract work requires at least 50% travel (2 weeks/month), Full-time employment requires 100% travel (4 weeks per month during school year).
Prepare and provide custom training to teachers and administrators.
Provide classroom coaching to support implementation of standards-based instruction.
Stay current in all educational trends nationwide.
Research and develop new in-services & products.
Create original assessments and curriculum products based on state standards.
Understand curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies that utilize best practices for increased student achievement and educational leadership.
On site project management for key customers.
Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Experience in the following:
6 years teaching experience in a core subject area (MS or HS English/Language Arts or Math or Elem ELA/Math Combo).
MA required, preferably in Education
Curriculum background, teacher training, and specialized curricular area of concentration (preferred)
Experience presenting in-services/workshops (preferred)
Experience coaching or mentoring teachers (preferred)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize multiple projects/tasks concurrently while meeting required deadlines and adhere to company and department procedures
Strong cognitive skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a customer-driven, fast-paced environment
PC Skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
