Genzyme's U.S. Internship/Co-op program offers students a vibrant, collaborative
life science disciplines, as well as a number of non-science opportunities such as finance, marketing, IT, engineering, and operations. Students from any school or program are eligible for consideration. Internships for graduate and MBA students are also available. Our internship program provides students the opportunity to have hands-on experience in one of the leading companies in the biotech industry. Students typically begin their internships in May or June and continue throughout August depending on the pre-determined needs of the department and the intern's schedule. Genzyme requires that all interns attend its orientation program offered prior to the start of the internship. Genzyme does not provide transportation, relocation or housing assistance. Requirements for ConsiderationLaboratory interns must be at least 18 years of age. All other non-science interns must be at least 16 years of age. Each candidate must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States under the laws of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Those individuals seeking laboratory internships must have completed either basic or advanced science courses and must have experience in laboratory practices.
