This award is to support the training of researchers who have just received their doctorate to enable them to qualify for an independent career in cancer research (including basic, preclinical, clinical, psychosocial, behavioral, and epidemiologic research). Awards are made for one to three years with progressive stipends of $40,000, $42,000, and $44,000 per year, plus a $4,000 per year institutional allowance.
