Institute for the International Education of Students Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) Scholarships

The Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) provides students

and U.S. colleges and universities with high-quality academic study abroad programs that foster intercultural development. The vision of the organization is for a world filled with interculturally competent leaders who have both the understanding and skills to effectively, humanely, and positively navigate across different cultures, in politics, education, business, or the non-profit sector. The Institute for the International

Education of Students has nearly 30 programs programs in 15 countries and provides over $2 million available in financial aid each year. Over 4,000 students study with IES each year.

A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded as follows: $1,500 credit toward the IES program fee; PLUS $500 toward the purchase of an overseas airline ticket for the IES program (upon receipt of a valid, overseas airline ticket receipt).
