The Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) provides students

and U.S. colleges and universities with high-quality academic study abroad programs that foster intercultural development. The vision of the organization is for a world filled with interculturally competent leaders who have both the understanding and skills to effectively, humanely, and positively navigate across different cultures, in politics, education, business, or the non-profit sector. The Institute for the International

Education of Students has nearly 30 programs programs in 15 countries and provides over $2 million available in financial aid each year. Over 4,000 students study with IES each year.

IES is committed to providing opportunities for students of color who have been traditionally under-represented on study abroad programs. As part of this effort, special scholarships and financial aid are available and encourage all students who qualify to apply for this assistance.
