The goal of this grant is to support 23 American Indian students in the School of Education

Initial Licensure programs over a four year period.
Upon completion of their initial licensure program, participants will
earn a Masters of Arts in Teaching or Masters in Education with Special
Education Endorsement and effectively double the current number of
American Indian teachers in the State of Oregon.
Who Is Eligible?
American Indian students entering the Masters of Arts in Teaching
program, including Special Education

Endorsement program, at Southern
Oregon University.
Participants will receive:
- full in-state tuition
- monthly living stipends
- books and fees support
